The time has come.....



Okay, so we rolled this program out at the worst possible time of year, but the time is now to really get moving.  Both the 5km and half marathon program outline 16 week training durations, so in short, "it's go-time".  If you have yet to procure a comfortable pair of running shoes make that a priority this weekend.  For those of you that have already found your "sole-mates" make sure you put them to good use this weekend.  Be it 5 minute or a 5km run you should be starting to make note of your progress and keeping track of your workouts. 

In June we'll fire some contests back up, and here's a hint, those of you who start making note of your workouts in May, you'll be at an advantage.  I would recommend doing it in a spreadsheet or some other softcopy method.

Oh, and the photo of Simon Pegg being tailed by his Vespa riding trainer is an image from the movie "Run Fatboy Run".  If you haven't watched this yet I highly recommend it for some light-hearted motivation.
